Hello so I've started work at a very happy and dysfunctional place. The people there shout out "good mornings" to each other every morning and when this girl's slippers strap broke, every one from her department and not crowd around her thinking of ways to help her fix her "problem". It's really coolshit to work in such a relaxing, free, sunny environment. But it's really pushing it when you... (cue dreamy music)
6 o'clock, ready to leave.
me: "Ok, I'm leaving, see you!"
happy colleague: "Oh! You can catch the happy bus!"
me: "huh?"
happy colleague: "Oh! The happy bus! The shuttle bus service to Pasir Ris Interchange!"
me: "Happy bus?"
happy colleague: "Oh! We call it happy bus because its a happy thing to be able to knock off on time and to catch the bus!"
I was so horrified I wanted to roll on the damn floor and scream. Wah but really REALLY, I don't mind all the sunshine in the office. :D
Anyway, my job scope is to open kids' letters and let their drawings, messages, etc. reach the producers in an orderly fashion. And you guys know how I tend to slightly dislike children. BUT DO YOU GUYS KNOW THAT CHILDREN CAN BE FRIGGIN IRRITATING ON PAPER TOO?! Ok, in the beginning I really smiled at some of the drawings and stuff sent because they are somewhat cute. This kid made my day by drawing a huge ass, sweet-looking, pink here, pink there, pink everywhere Minnie and having the name Nigel. And this other kid actually wrote a note to "Mr Disney". It's so cute, the way they assume they are writing to a man who is the embodiment of Disney channel. The cuteness stops right about..... there. Then they start writing their addresses any oh how, like no one is ever gonna need their residential information anyway. Oh yeah? how will "Mr Disney" ever gonna send you a sweet note to thank you/a prize to make you smile/stickers to stick on your sticker book? HOW CAN I UPDATE THE DAMN DATABASE ACCURATELY WITH YOUR UGLY LIKE SHIT HANDWRITING? HUH?! HUH?!!!
Anyway, Denise brought me lunch on Thursday and I was telling her how I love looking at the cute drawings these kids send here (I know, I'm so volatile). After lunch, we went back to doing our own shit and I was happily opening this envelope with my penknife when Thunder bolt! Thunder bolt! Lightning flash! I dug out 4 drawings from the (it was a very stubborn) envelope and found 2 of it split neatly in half. I felt so damn guilty for 4 seconds. Then I paste them up with scotch tape.
So there you go, my life story. :D

from thai thai thai thai thai thailandddddddddd!
we went shopping, sight-seeing, clubbing and shopping!
and there's not a day gone by without thinking of the mango and glutinous rice! :(
and i miss the queen-size bed in our hotel room.. the comforter... it's like sleeping in clouds!
